Who we are
The Victory Health Association was created in 2019 to support the psychomotor rehabilitation needs of our daughter, Victoria. With this point of departure, the association will be a real support in the reeducation of other children who will also have special needs. Let's talk about Victoria, Victoria is born with the first days of spring 2017 after a long and very hard labor. She needs respiratory aids in the first hours of her life, so she is intubated and treated with antibiotics. The diagnosis: perinatal asphyxia. The maternity leave will be done 8 days later with a medical protocol to follow: monthly ultrasound, auditory and ophthalmological test and kinesitherapy from the first month of life. At the age of 6 months, the psychomotor retardation is confirmed and at the age of 8 months, because of cerebral lesions due to perinatal asphyxia, it makes infantile spasms. Now Victoria's days are busy; physiotherapy, Masgutova therapy, Castillo Morales therapy, massage, hydrokinetic therapy. Victoria also needs specialized equipment (wheelchairs, ateles ...) that must be adapted to its morphology and evolve according to its growth. We are looking at all possible treatments for Victoria that could make her progress and improve her condition. There are other possible treatments abroad such as stem cell therapy or SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy) intervention in the United States or Germany, however, if it will be eligible for such a protocol.
